There was no winner in the battle of Thessaloniki. In a game that PAOK dominated, and were clearly superior to their opponents, the visitors pressed hard especially in the last part of the match, but neither team could produce a goal and ended up sharing the points.

Aris, although playing at home, did not try to create organized attacks and were limited to counter-attacks. Whenever they managed to break through the PAOK defense, however, they were stopped by Alexandros Paschalakis.

The Goldkeeper made some excellent saves, dominated his penalty area on crosses, air and guided his defenders expertly, being crucial in helping the team to another clean sheet.

In the poll for the Fans’ Man of the Match, Paschalakis gathered 42.99% of the public votes to win the individual award.

In second place was Joan Sastre , who produced another excellent display, while the podium was completed by Filipe Soares, who was in the starting line-up for the first time, producing a positive performance both in defense and attack.
