Under-15 side pick up another three-point haul [with pictures]

PAOK’s Under-15 side produced a dominant display to dispatch AEK 3-0 in Souroti on Sunday, with just two matches to go until the end of the regular Super League season.

PAOK lead the standings with 31 points, two ahead of Olympiacos, who have 28, while in the next game the Under-15s travel to Tripoli to face Asteras before then welcoming Olympiacos. As for the champion of this age category, that will be decided during the season-ending Final Four tournament. No dates have been set as yet, but in this competition, the team in first place will play against the fourth-placed side, while second placed team will tackle the third-placed side in the semi-finals. Thw winners of those matches will battle it out in the final.

In the Sunday’s encounter, Orfanos and Bikas’ team opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a header by Kosidis, following a cross from Tsifoutis. With two more goals in the second half, PAOK locked up the result, without even being threatened for a moment by AEK. In the 50th minute Sellas found Tsiotas from the right and the latter made it 2-0 with a clinical finish, while in the 70th minute it was Tsitsilas’ shot which found the net to make it 3-0, following an assist from Vyrsokinos.
