On his return to PAOK:
«My start to life at PAOK was quite difficult, now I have returned to a new team, with new players, a new coach and several changes. I have not changed, I am the same footballer with the same quality, but it is a new beginning.»
On the fact that he had a leading role while at Malmo, and what he took from that experience:
«I got a lot from the experience in terms of confidence and psychologically. I was at a club that showed a lot of faith in me, and that helped me. Lucescu has showed me the same confidence and that he wants to work with me, and gradually he will start using me more, maybe tomorrow will be the beginning of a new way forward for me, with a goal at the Toumba. I’m look forward to seeing the fans back in the stadium, I look forward to repaying the club for the confidence that they and the coach are showing in me and show what I can do on the pitch.»
On what has changed at PAOK:
«The team is having a good season, there is stability, and there are some very quality players in the squad. This stability has been transmitted by the coach who has brought calm. We have a good mix of young and experienced players, and we want to keep that stability and continue with this good momentum we have with more good results.»
On the match against Panathinaikos, and what he expects the defining points of the game will be:
«Panathinaikos are a good team, with quality players, so I think it will be an open game. Both teams want to play football. We want to continue at the same pace we have been and be the ones who get the victory, because it is an important game for the rest of the season.»
