PAOK were serious, focused and determined, and as such they managed to kick off 2022 with a three-point haul. Razvan Lucescu’s team prevailed 2-0 against Panetolikos at the Toumba to continue the club’s winning streak.

One of the players that stood out for the Double-headed Eagle was Lefteris Lyratzis. The young right-back dominated down the right-hand side, clocking up the kilometers, while also proving effective in both defense and attack.

In the poll for the Fans’ Man of the Match of the match, Lyratzis recevied 40.24% of the votes to take home the individual award.

In second place was Leo Jaba, who found the net on his return to PAOK, and the podium was completed by the other scorer, Jasmin Kurtic, who may have missed the first penalty he took, but did not make the same mistake twice.
