The right to a dignified life is equal for everyone. PAOK Action, in the context of its strategic initiatives aimed at providing assistance to those who need it most, have completed another important project that is expected to offer immediate relief to the guests of the Municipality of Thessaloniki’s Center for the Homeless.

More specifically, utilizing the club’s successful and long-term sponsorship with Porcelana, the leading Greek company in tiles and sanitary ware, PAOK Action, also with the valuable contribution of the Technical Service of the Municipality, carried out the implementation of the complete renovation of bathrooms and personal spaces of hygiene in the center.

The project provides a crucial contribution to the increased needs of the center, the purpose of which is the temporary overnight accommodation of the homeless, as well as to cover for emergencies. At the same time, the center iteself is in the process of implementing further systematic actions of psychosocial empowerment and support of the homeless, with the possibilities of hosting up to 65 people for a period of up to six months.

The inauguration event of the project was attended by both representatives and players from PAOK FC, as well as Porcelana. From PAOK’s side, Giannis Michailidis and Charis Tsingaras had the opportunity to see the completed project from up close, and they were also informed about the project overall and the center’s programs.

The event was attended by both the staff of the Social Service and the Deputy Mayor of Social Policy of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, Charis Aidonopoulos.
