The «thriller» at the Toumba between PAOK and Asteras Tripolis ended with the Double-headed Eagle taking all three points with a 3-2 win thanks for a goal in the final moments. PAOK continued its recent winning streak after a poor spell, which the team seem to have put firmly behind them.

Jasmin Kurtic was the major protagonist once again. The Slovenian scored two goals from the penalty spot and was also excellent throughout the match in midfield, with plenty of running, countless duels, a clear head when it mattered most, and character in difficult times.

In the poll for the Fans’ Man of the Match of the match, Kurtic received 48.05% of the public vote and won the award once again.

In second place was Jose Crespo who was a key influence battling until the last minute – it was he who won the penalty in the final moments which clinched the victory, while the podium was completed by Lefteris Lyratzis who started yet again and produced another excellent performance.
