Under-19s held to draw
PAOK’s Under-19 side came away from Ionikos with a point after being held to a 1-1 draw on Saturday in Nikaia, Athens.
PAOK were the better side in the first half, controlling much of the possession and also creating a hatful of chances. The visitors duly went in fron in the 12th minute thanks to a penalty which was won by Kalogiros anbd converted by Smyrlis. However, the home side played their way back into the game in the second half and managed to equalize in the 75th minute. For the last quarter of the match the Double-headed Eagle tried to find a winning goal but the home defence held fim and the match ended all square.
