Andrija Zivkovic’s precision play
An October double for Andrija Zivkovic. The Serbian followed up his BOX MVP of the Month award with the nak Play of the Month for the same period following the results of the public vote via paokfc.gr.
PAOK made a strong start in the match against OFI and found a goal in one of their first attacks. And what a well-worked goal it was. Zivkovic advanced down the right side of the attack, looked up and saw Swiderski drifting in at the back post. With a delicate swing of this right boot, the Serb whipped in a perfect cross which met the Polish striker’s head with such precision that all Swiderski had to do was nod it into the back of the net.
And in the nak October Play of the Month poll, the Serb received 42.89% of the votes to win another individual distinction.
Alexandros Paschalakis was narrowly edged out in second place for his big save in Denmark against Copenhagen, an intervention which secured victory for PAOK. The podium was completed by the excellent team effort of the Double-headed Eagle for the second goal at Parken.
