Under-17 team lose to Xanthi
PAOK’s Under-17 side suffered their first defeat of the season on Sunday at Souroti as Xanthi left Thessaloniki with all three points in 1 -0 away win.
In what proved to be a mediocre and balanced game in all respects, Tsiapakidis and Hagan’s side slipped to a 1-0 defeat, with the only goal of the game scored by the visitors in the 20th minute.
After that strike, the Double-headed Eagle managed to find their feet a little better and regained control of the possession and the tempo of the game. However, they struggled to create any meaningful chances and the game finished 1-0.
