Slovan pre-game in Thessaloniki…

The demanding fixture schedule with the series of away games has prompted PAOK to adjust the club’s plans in view of Slovan. The Double-headed Eagle squad will undertake all their pre-game activities in Thessaloniki and will go to Slovakia for the match, following the same practice of domestic away matches.

And so on Wednesday (24.11), PAOK will train at 10:30 at the club’s training base in Nea Mesimvria (first 15 minutes will be open to the press), at 13:30 Razvan Lutsescu and a representative of the players will participate in the standard pre-match press conference at the Toumba Stadium, and then at 18:00 the squad will depart for Bratislava via a charter flight.

Preparations for the match with the Slovakia champions actually kicked off on Tuesday (23.11) with training in Nea Mesimvria. The emphasis of the session was mainly on tactics, both on the team’s defensive operation and breaking down oppiosition attacks, as well as on attacking build-up play, as the team looks to correct the mistakes made in Peristeri.

Vieirinha, Douglas Augusto, and Oliveira continued their respetive individual injury recovery programs, while all of the other players trained normally. For the match on Thursday (25.11), Razvan Lucescu will be without the suspended Giannis Michailidis.
