PAOK dominated proceedings in the derby at «Leoforos», coming out on top in every area of the pitch against Panathinaikos, and thus quite rightly coming away with the three points in the chape of a 3-1 win over the Greens.

Jasmin Kurtic was the major protagonist for the Double-headed Eagle. The Slovenian midfielder found the net twice with a well-aimed penalty kick and a wonderful direct free-kick, while he was also excellent throughout the game making endless runs and battling fiercely in midfield, showing intensity and passion to drive the team forward.

And in the Fans’ Man of the Match poll, Kurtic garnered 49.26% of the public vote to won the award.

In second place was Andrija Zivkovic who also produced a great performance, having an assist, while the podium was completed by Giannis Michailidis, who was solid at the back in deakling with the home side’s attackers, but was also crucial in the team’s build-up play. He also won the penalty that allowed PAOK to go 2-1 up.
