It comes as no surprise to the club that as a reward with a paid position in EEA (Professional Sports Committee) the Deputy Minister of Sports’ best man Nikolaos Tzoulakis and Ilias Arkoudis two of the main protagonists in the unprecedented fiasco of the so-called multi-ownership which resulted in the substantial falsification of the 2020 championship and brought into question the integrity of the league authorities.
It is now evidently clear that Lefteris Avgenakis perceives sport simply as a field of «tricks», games of power and raw interventions. The fact that he constantly insists on making gaffe after gaffe is now his own problem and that of those who selected him for his role.
Those MPs from Thessaloniki and Northern Greece, through their tolerance or even their support, allow him to work according to his personal agenda with people who have brutally insulted the citizens of not only their region, will in the end be judged by their voters.
We at PAOK, in addition enjoying seeing justice served in our favor continuously since the day the EEA decided to try and oppose us, expect to see more, new decisions of justice in our favor, which will complete the humiliation of the committee in the eyes of every the last sports fan in the country.
