Unxer-17 side demolish Larissa
It was a sun-kissed morning in more ways than one in Souroti on Saturday (13.11) for PAOK’s Under-17 team, who destroyed Larissa 8-0 in a devastating show of dominance. Next up for Tsiapakidis’ and Hagan’s isde are Panetolikos in Agrinio next Sunday.
As the score suggests, PAOK were absolutely superior in every way in the match, thus continuing an impressive series of victories and remaining of course at the top of the standings.
It took just four minutes for Papageorgiou to open the scoring with a header after an assist from Georgiadis, and three minutes later Tzimas made it 2-0 from Goumas’ pass. In the 10th minute, Ignatiou sent over a corner and Politakis made it 3-0, while in the 20th minute, Tzimas was on target again for his second and his team’s fouerth goal with a clinical side-footed finishing after good work by Goumas.
Lekkas made it 5-0 with a shot from outside the penalty area in the 41st minute, and after half-time in the 52nd minute, Politakis scored his second goal of the game – and his team’s sixth – following another corner delivered by Ignatiou. In the 64th minute it was Deligiannis’ turn to score for 7-0 after a corner kick from Aleiferopoulos, and finally in the 68th minute Georgiadis set up Goumas, who made it 8-0 to complete the scoring.
