PAOK Action and KLEEMANN support the Social Entertainment Center for People with Special Needs
Within the framework of the club’s Corporate & Social Responsibility arm PAOK Action, PAOK FC – together with one of our sponsors KLEEMANN – paid a visit to the Social Entertainment Center for People with Special Needs in Thessaloniki where teh club presented a special donation and installation of a new special platform for accessibility to the center.
In a special event which took place on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, PAOK were represnted by players Stefan Schwab and Shinji Kagawa, and the Deputy CEO of PAOK Evangelos Chrysochos, while also present were KLEEMANN General Manager Ioannis Sanidiotis and the Deputy Mayor of Social Policy of the Municipality of Thessaloniki Charis Aidonopoulos.
The PAOK players brought gifts to the beneficiaries of the facility, and were given a guided tour of the premises while being informed about how it works and how it helps those in need. The Special Entertainment Center serves people over 18 years of age with mental and mobility difficulties, sensory disabilities, and autistism, and the purpose of the program is their full participation in all areas of social life as equal members of society and their harmonious coexistence in becoming social.
To achieve this goal, PAOK Action and KLEEMANN have contributed by funding and setting up a special platform and elevator in the center, thus facilitating greater accessibility of the beneficiaries and offering them equal opportunities in their social lives.
