Under-17’s chalk up seventh win in a row
PAOK’s Under-17 side continued their unbeaten winning run with a come-from-behind 3-1 victory against Volos – their seventh successive victory in the Super League championship in eight games played so far.
The hosts were ahead in the fitth minute, however, PAOK quickly regained control of possession and equalized in the 21st minute with a goal by Ignatiou, following a corner from Papageorgiou.
In the second half, PAOK’s superiority was universal with the young players creating many opportunities and good phases of play. They hit the crossbar and scored two more goals to turn the game on its head. In the 73rd minute, Sznaucner played in Deliopoulos who put PAOK in front with a clinical side-footed finish. Then, in the 75th minute Ignatiou struck the crossbar before Papageorgiou made the final score 3-1 win a goal in hte 83rd minute after a excellent pass from Theodosiadis.
The team’s next match is with Lamia in Souroti.
