PAOK B claim 2-2 friendly draw with Veria
They saw that being made to wait increases one’s desire. The desire to improve, and to be as ready as possible; the desire to declare “present” when asked.
With little other options due to the big wait for the start of the Super League 2 season, PAOK B tested their mettle in another friendly contest, this time at noon on Sunday in Souroti against Veria. It turned out to be a tough yet balanced match, with the coaching staff able to draw some key conclusions in view of the start of the championship.

Veria took the lead in the 51st minute, and the Double-headed Eagle responded with a goal from Hadtzistravos in the 60th minute. Then the visitors won a penalty, which they converted to make it 2-1 to them six minute alter. However, Gaitanidis earned PAOK B the draw with a well-taken penalty kick in the 85th minute.
