Emphatic win for Under-15s in Heraklion
The ‘rookie’ Under-15s clinched a stunning 5-1 away victory in the Super League championship. PAOK beat OFI 5-1 in Heraklion, chalking up a second consecutive victory with consumate ease.
Tsifoutis opened the scoring early on in the eigth minute, producing a fine individual goal, and it was soon 2-0 in the 11th minute when Eleftheriadis found the back of the net with a shot from outside the penalty area to double the Double-headed Eagle’s lead. It was 3-0 just seven minutes later when the home side accidentally put the ball into their own net, and shortly before the halftime, Dunga made it 4-0 with a powerful finish in the 38th minute.
The home side did find a response early in the second half when they won a penalty in the 49th minute. Beleris saved the spot-kick for PAOK, however, the home side followed up quickler on the rebound and scored to make it 4-12. That only served to spark PAOK further, and the four-goal advantage was restored by Dunga who fored home to score in the 54th minute to make the final score 5-1.
