Taylor: «Passing and patience»
Lucas Taylor spoke to the Novasports camera to share his insights on the upcoming match in Agrinio against Panetolikos. Read what the Brazilian had to say via paokfc.gr.
On what his takeaways were from the match against Asteras:
«What I think we have to keep is that we have to be in control more generally in the next games that follow. It is certain that we will find games in front of us where the opponent will play more defensively, so we have to have control of the game traffic, to have patience so that we find the right moments and conditions, to break up the opponent’s defense and to create opportunities and not to accept phases in the counterattacks at the same time.»
On the heavy fixture list:
«I think that when you have one game a week and you do not have midweek obligations, it is easier in the sense that you have more time to work and correct things that did not go well in the previous game. You also have the ability to rest, and to do your recovery training program in the right way, because when you have a game every three days, the recovery is a little more difficult. In general, I think it is better for a footballer to have a little more time between games.»
On how he feels about the start of the season at PAOK:
«I think these first months in the team as a whole have gone very well. I personally think that I have adapted 100%, there are definitely more things that I want to do in the game and I can improve in my game, but I think for this initial period here I am happy with the results so far.»
