Sidcley joins PAOK

PAOK FC announces the transfer of Sidcley Ferreira from Dynamo Kiev on loan. The Brazilian left back will wear the number 16 shirt.

Sidcley Ferreira Pereira was born on May 13, 1993 in Villa Vela, Espirito Santo, Brazil. He joined the academies of his local club Tupy-ES and then moved to Linares, the biggest team in the immediate area.

He traveled to the United Arab Emirates to try out for Sharjah, before returning to his homeland to play for Catanduvense in the second division of the Paulista Championship.

This was a move that proved to launch the start of his career through a transfer to Atletico Paranaense. In total with Paranaense, Sidcley played in 108 games, scoring eight goals and contributing seven assists.

He was then loaned out for one season to Atletico Goiananense in the second division, where in 34 appearances he scored two goals and provided two assists. He also spent six months with Corinthians and then Dinamo Kiev caming knocking on his door and the way to Europe was open. In the summer of 2018 he moved to the Ukrainian club for a fee of five million euros.

He made 33 appearances for Dynamo, scoring three goals and contributing three assists, while he also spent another season back on loan at Corinthians.

Sidcley is a full-back with some special skills, particularly in the attacking part of his game.
