Lucescu’s coaching team
Razvan Lucescu is not returning on his own to the club, but he is bringing his coaching staff and associates with him, with the coaching set-up to be finalized in the coming days.
Cristiano Bacci will be the Romanian head coach’s first assistant coach, and he will be responsible for the team’s training program. Alongside Lucsescu will also be Pantelis Konstantinidis . The veteran former Double-headed Eagle player will be responsible for scouting and analysing opposing teams.
Mateo Spatafora also returns to Thessaloniki, in the same position he held in the past at PAOK, as the team’s head fitness coach.
George Tsonakas and Kyriakos Tsitiridis will also be with the club again. The former will be responsible for rehabilitation and recovery training, while the latter will be in charge of video analysis.
We also have two new faces in the Romanian’s coaching set-up. Paolo Castorina will be in charge of individual player development and improvement, while Jose Moreira will be the new goalkeeping coach.
