On the status of the PAOK squad after the series of successful results:

«I think we are fine. The team believes in what we are doing. Of course, the results in the last few games also help us. We are happy, we are now in second place but there is still a long way to go. We have a lot of games to play, and our concentration levels must remain high until the last match. There is still much to do.»

On how crucial the match with Aris is and whether he thinks the result will decide the battle for second place:

«It’s definitely a very important game. It’s second versus third and it’s a local derby. This game is definitely different. We really want to win the game. It will definitely be very difficult, we have played Aris many times and each time they have been very difficult matches. But we believe in our team, the players are in very good shape, and we are looking forward to tomorrow’s game.»

On the coaching team’s thoughts on how they will manage the squad in view of the last few games and the cup final:

«Some players are tired, they are playing in all the games continuously for ninety minutes, but I think the work we do with the coaches, the rehabilitation and recovery, we all work hard. The team also helps us, on the pitch it is looking good, we have no problems. Of course now that we have three games in a row every three days, we will need to do some rotation, but look at the games one by one, and what we are interested in right now is only tomorrow, that is the only thing that we have in mind.»

On the effectiveness of Swiderski and Kremencik in recent games:

«We are very happy. I think every coach wants to have their two good strikers scoring. They are both in great shape at the moment. We still do not know who will play against Aris from the start. But we have the best situation we can possible have at the moment in that respect.»

On Warda and his influence on the game with AEK:

«When Warda came on I think he helped us a lot; he worked very hard both on the offensive side and on the defensive side. He was very good, very disciplined. He did what we wanted him to and I think he won us over a lot on this game.»

On whether he expects a close game against Aris:

«I think it will be a tight, closed game. Both ourselves and Aris do not want to risk too much. It will be a difficult game for Aris. We both have a well-known way of playing, and I don’t think Aris will change anything in the system it plays. We expect a tough game and we need to tread carefully.»

On the injury problems PAOK face in view of the match:

«We only have a few players who are not ready yet, such as El Kaddouri, Crespo, Kagawa, and Pereira who are still marginally match-fit. But the rest are in good condition, everyone is available.»
