Paschalakis wins Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match award
Alexandros Paschalakis came out on top in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match for the Matchday 6 Super League Interwetten Play Offs match against Panathinaikos at the Toumba.
PAOK and Panathinaikos could not be separated as their clash at the Toumba ended in a goalless draw. The Double-headed Eagle controlled the majority of the game, missed some crucial scoring chances, but was also solid at the back, not allowing the visitors to threaten.
And whenever the Greens got beyond the PAOK defenders, they were thwarted by Alexandros Paschalakis in goal. The Goldkeeper produced an impressive individual display, making sure he was there whenever his teammates needed him to be, with the highlight being a stunning save to deny Carlitos with the last kick of the game.
In the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match, Paschalakis received 52,07% of the votes to claim the individual award.
