PAOK did not manage to get the win they wanted in Tripoli, despite being the dominant side for the majority of the match, and missing a clutch of scoring opportunities. The final scoreline was 1-1, with goals from Swiderski and Munafo the only strikes that made it into the back of the net. PAOK were guilty of profligacy in front of goal, especially in the opening 45 minutes of the match.

The best performer for the visitors on the night was Swiderski. Apart from the wonderful goal he scored, the Pole battled manfully throughout the match, and was a constant source of danger. If luck was on his side, he would have had more goals.

In the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match, Swarovski received 43,95% of the votes and claimed the individual award.

In second place was Adelino Vieirinha, who was in exceptional form once again, giving everything he had for the team. The podium was completed by Alexandros Paschalakis, who made some important saves.
