The big news is that Christos Tzolis’ astonishing run will come to an end. Three of his teammates managed to outdo him this time and so he is out of the running.

Our first contender is Ingi Ingason. The Icelander has been in exceptional form this season, and he continues to improve. During March he was solid at the back, produced his renowned passion and intensity, as well as his knack of scoring crucial goals. The highlight was the final minutes of the match against Aris when he simply refused to give up. The Iceman put his heart and soul into trying to get a result, scoring a goal and winning a penalty.

Next up it’s Andrija Zivkovic . The Serbian has rediscovered his early-season form and it’s showing. Zile was a constant source of danger for opposition defences, while he also produced a one man show in the Super League Interwetten Play Offs premiere against AEK with two goals. A marker of how good his form has been is the fact that he earned a recall to the Serbia national team squad.

The third contender is Karol Swiderski. The Polish forward found himself once again during March, winning the trust of the coaching team, which he vindicated with a goal against ΑΕΚ and an assist against Panathinaikos at ‘Leoforos’.
