It’s the shortest month of the year and that is supposed to make it positive. But for some strange reasons, February ends up being one of the most difficult of the season. Who was the best PAOK player of the month? Vote for February’s BOX MVP via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App.
The first contender is Ingi Ingason who has been one of the club’s top performers all seson. Even though the Icelandic missed two games due to suspenion (or perhapd it was because of this fact), he managed to stand out again. Solid at the back, always reading the game well and playing with extreme passion, he was a key figure in the build-up play as well as lethal in front of goal. The Iceman made three appearances, and scored a vital goal against Apollon Smyrnis at the Toumba.
Next in contention is Christos Tzolis. The Golden Boy is in the running for a fourth award after claiming the honours in November, December and January. If he managed that, then he will beat his own record of winning three in a row, aka the three peat. In February, Tzolis scored three goals in five matches, provided two assists, won two penalties, and was a constant threat for opposition defences.
Finally, our third candidate is Andrija Zivkovic . The Serbian ace let rip last month with three goals and two assists in six matches, improving his performances to put himself in contention for the individual award.
