Andrija Zivkovic wins Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match award
Andrija Zivkovic came out on top in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match for the Matchday 24 Super League Interwetten clash against Asteras Tripolis.
Nothing went right for PAOK in Tripoli. The Double-headed Eagle did control the possession and were the dominant side, but they did not manage to score when they were on top, and then they conceded goals from the two only chances that the home side had created, as a result of which they left the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium empty-handed.
The top performer for PAOK was Andrija Zivkovic . The Serb was on the bench for the first half of the match as he has not yet deemed match fit and ready for a full 90 minutes, but in the secon half when he came off the bench it was him who made the difference in freshening up the visitors’ attack. He also scored the Double-headed Eagle’s only goal with a brilliant individual effort.
And in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match, Zivkovic received 32,54% of the votes to claim the individual award.
In second place was Amr Warda, who was once again an attacking outlet for yet another match, also hitting the woodwork with an effort. In third place was Michael Krmencik. The Czech forward battled well up front, and he did put the ball in the net, only to see his effort ruled out for an offside flag.
