Tzolis wins Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match Award
Christos Tzolis came out on top in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match for the Super League Interwetten Matchday 22 contest against PAS Giannina.
PAOK produced an exceptional display in Peristeri against PAS Giannina to record an important win. The Double-headed Eagle dominated the match for the entire 90 minutes and won 2-0, although that scoreline did not do PAOK’s dominance justice in a match during which the opposition did not get the chance to threaten at all.
The main protegonist for yet another match was Christos Tzolis. The Golden Boy was on top form in a PAOK jersey once more. He may not have scored this time, or contributed an assist, but he won two penalties, helkped created several scoring chances, both for himself and his teammates, and he was a constant source of danger.
And so in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match, Tzolis received 44,69% of the votes and clinched the individual award.
In second place was Amr Warda. The Egyptian was an effervescent figure throughout the game, full of running and creative guile which caused the opposition defence problems all night. The podium was completed by Andrija Zivkovic , who’s goal paved the way for the Double-headed Eagle’s victory.
