The squad for PAS Giannina
Amid the icy weather front which has disrupted the country, PAOK managed to conclude their preparations for the upcoming match against PAS Giannina in Athens.
From early in the morning the Toumba was dressed in white as Thessaloniki experinced heavy snowfall. The ground staff, however, managed to clear snow from a large area of the pitch and the squad was able to complete a final training session before Monday’s match in Athens.
The session was characteried by a series of warm-up exercises and games to ensure the players were all adequately warmed up, while the main part of the session saw the players compete against each other in a three-team tournament.
All of the squad’s Covid-19 tests which were submitted on Saturday (13.02) were negative, and so once again Enea Mihaj is the only player on the injury list. The Albanian defender continued his rehab program with some work in the gym and some muscle-strengthening exercises, as well as physiotherapy.
At the end of the session, the coaching team announced their squad selection for the match against PAS Giannina, and among the names was Rahman Baba, who was included for the first time since joining the club in the January transfer window.
