Recovery and a friendly with the Under-19s
Mission accomplished against Lamia. The Double-headed Eagle managed to build a significant advantage from the first leg of their Greek Cup tie and now the attention turns to the next league match against PAS Giannina, with the only goal on the team’s mind being a return to winning ways.
The preparations for the upcoming visit to Zosimades began on Thursday (11.02) morning in Nea Mesimvria. The players who were in the starting lineup against Lamia remained in the gym, swimming pool and with the physiotherapists for recovery and recuperation training. The rest of the group went out on the practice pitches and played a friendly match against the Under-19s.
The Double-headed Eagle’s coaching team had the chance to give those players who have not had much playing time a full 90-minute runout, as well as newcomers Baba Rahman and Bradonjić.
On the other hand, Stelios Malezas and his coaching staff also had a first-class opportunity to measure the strength of their players for the first time in a long time ahead of the upcoming European challenge of the UEFA Youth League.
Enea Mihaj is the only player still to be sidelined. The Albanian defender continued his recovery and rehabilitation program.
On Friday (12.02), PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
