The squad for the Greek Cup quarter-finals
PAOK are aiming to use the dropped points from the league match against Apollon Smyrnis as a warning to help them focus on not making the same mistakes and qualify for the semi-finals of the Greek Cup. The Double-headed Eagle host Lamia at the Toumba on Wednesday (10.02) night in the first leg of their tie.
The team’s preparations concluded on Tuesday (09.02) morning with a final pre-match training session in Nea Mesimvria. The players’ final dress rehearsal before the game against the Fthiotida club included some warm-up activities, with fitness the focus, as well as some drills on reflexes and rondo.
After that the coaching team got the squad to focus on the tactical approach for the match, while there was also a strong focus on set-pieces. All of the players’ Covid-19 tests were negative, and so the coach and his technical team do not have any injury concerns apart from the ongoing long-term rehab program being followed by Enea Mihaj.
The Albanian defender did some exercises with the ball today for the first time since returning to light training and he continues his efforts to get back to full fitness.

• Ingi Ingason, who picked up his seventh yellow card in the Super League Interwetten, will miss the matches against Lamia and Asteras Tripolis.
