Tzolis wins Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match award
Christos Tzolis came out on top in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match for the Greek Cup match against Larissa.
Progress to the quarter-finals was virtually secured after the first match. PAOK were in explosive form, scoring five goals, while there could have been many more, and the team will travel to Larissa for the second leg simply as a formality.
The best player on the pitch on the day was of course Christos Tzolis. The Golden Boy recorded his-ever professional first hat-trick to spearhead the team with a comfortable win.
And in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match, Tzolis received 77,8% of the votes to take home the individual award.
The only team-mate to chalk up double-digit figures in the poll was Michael Krmencik, who was also exceptional, scoring a goal and providing an assist.
