Warda wins Fans’ Man of the Match award
Amr Warda came out on top in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match for the match against Atromitos on Matchday 16 of the Super League Interwetten.
Nothing went right in Peristeri. On the night, PAOK did find the net twice, but some individual mistakes and concentration lapses in the finale saw the Double-headed Eagle slip to defeat.
While everyone would prefer to forget that match, there were some positive points. One of them was the performance of Amr Warda in his first appearance in a PAOK shirt following his return to the club which showed he is ready to help the team.
The Egyptian entered the battle in the second half, coming off the bench to score a header as well as show some great touches.
And in the poll for the Protergia Fans’ Man of the Match, Warda received 37,5% of the votes, which was enough to see him take home the individual award.
