Hard work the only way forward

The year 2021 has not begun well for the club. δεν After the draw with Larissa, the defeat in Peristeri to Atromitos means PAOK have lost vital ground in the title race. As Pablo Garcia has said, the only solution to the club’s current plight is hard work.

08.01.2021

PAOK paid for their mistakes yet again and left the pitch on Thursday with no points, despite controlling the match. But there is no time to dwell on that defeat for the Double-headed Eagle now. In just two days there’s another match, and generally January is going to be a demanding month. But with all the games, PAOK do have the opportunity to respond quickly and work their way out of this spell.

The squad gathered in Nea Mesimvria to begin the preparations for the next game against Volos. The program contained aspects on two main fronts. Firstly recovery and recuperation for those who started the previous match, with those players working out in the swimming pool and gym.

The rest of the group went out onto the training pitches and completed a high-intensity workout focused on possession and passing. Enea Mihaj is the only player still sidelined. The Albanian defender continued his physiotherapy program and work in the swimming pool.

On Saturday (09.01), PAOK will train at 11:00 at the Toumba.
