Swiderski wins Fans’ Man of the Match award
Karol Swiderski came out on top in the vote via paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App as the Fans’ Man of the Match for the Super League Interwetten Matchday 13 derby clash against Panathinaikos.
PAOK ended 2020 on a high note with a derby win over Panathinaikos at the Toumba.
The mayor protagonist of the match for the Double-headed Eagle was Karol Swiderski. Or to be exact, the head of the PAOK striker.
The Polish forward was the man who headed the ball into the back of the net following an exceptional cross from Giannoulis for the first goal, while for the second goal he also provided a headed assist for Ingason’s match-winning goal for PAOK. He could have also scored more goals on the night, but he was denied on several occasions by the Panathinaikos goalkeeper.
In the poll for the Fans’ Man of the Match from the game, the candidates were two with Swiderski edging out Ingason with 43,54% of the vote.
