Vote for November’s PAOK TV Play of the Month
Three moments of inspiration. Three impressive efforts. Three moments of footballing magic. Let’s decide who wins the PAOK TV Play of the Month for November via the poll on paokfc.gr.
The peculiarity of the competition for this month is that the first two nominations come from the same phase of play, which is none other than the Christos Tzolis’ wonderful goal against PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
In order for the ball to reach the Golden Boy, the following had to happen: Andrija Zivkovic skipped past Mandueke, who some say is still turning to try and catch the Serbian winger, and then sent a cross over to Stefan Schwab. Everyone shouted «shoot» in unison, only for the Austrian to elect for a pass. And after that, what happened next is well known.
And so both A. Zivkovic and Schwab are the first two candidates, the former with his dribble and the latter with his assist, but they have strong competition.
In the game with Lamia, Omar El Kaddouri produced a superb slide-rule pass for Wague, who squared the ball for Tziolis to score. The Moroccan’s pass took two opponents out of the game, and gave the Senegalese defender space and time to produce the assist.
