PAS Giannina made lift extremely difficult for the Double-headed Eagle for 45 minutes, but in the second half PAOK were able to step up to the challenge and complete an impressive comeback with victory in the closing minutes of the game.

A key man on the night was El Kaddouri. The Moroccan came off the bench at half-time, and apart from his excellent all round performance, he also pounced to score the crucial winning goal with an impressive, improvised overhead effort.
