  • PAOK is traveling to Holland for the ninth time in the club’s history for a European match. This is the third time that PAOK is facing PSV. In the previous two matches on Dutch soil, PSV won both times 3-0 and 4-1.
  • In eight matches in the Netherlands, PAOK has recorded four draws and four losses. PAOK has failed to score in just two of those matches, one of them was in the first match played in Holland with PSV winning 3-0, and a 0-0 draw with Heerenveen.
  • The last two games against PSV have ended 4-1. The first was back in 2001 in Holland and the second was 20 days ago at the Toumba when PAOK won thanks to goals from Setefan Schwab, Α.Ζivkovic, Christos Tziolis, and Α.Ζivkovic.
  • This is the third time that PAOK is facing PSV in a European competition. The previous two matches were in the old UEFA Cup format with two-legged ties in the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons.
  • In both of those seasons the tie was in the 3rd round of the competition, with PSV progressing on both occasions and PAOK managed to win just one of the four matches.
  • In 2000-01 PAOK had eliminated Beitar and Udinese, while in 2001-02 they got passed FC Karnten and Pribram.   • In total, PAOK has faced four teams from Holland in European competition. PSV was the first, then came AlkmaarHerenveen and AjaxEindhoven is the only team PAOK have beaten, while there have been eight draws and seven losses. Against Ajax, PAOK were playing in the Champions League qualifiers, while against the other clubs the competitions were the UEFA Cup and its modern equivalent, the Europa League.
  • There has only been one match against Dutch opponents in which there were no goals scored. This came in a 0-0 draw in the 2009-10 against Herenveen in Holland. All of the other matches featured goals, while PAOK have failed to score both in that 0-0 draw, and also in the first matches in the 2000-01 season.
