Omar’s Explosive start
Omar El Kaddouri came out on top in the vote for the BOX MVP for September to win the first such award of the 2020-21 season.
The Moroccan midfielder has taken on some additional responsibilities, and he showed he was up to the task in the first few games of the campaign with a flawless approach. His quality has been the benchmark for the other midfielders at PAOK, while he has played a leading role in the creative side as well.
El Kaddouri’s displays, which have seen him score once in six games as well as hit the woodwork and provide a plethora of defence-splitting passes, have been impressive enough to earn him a recall to the Morocco national team.
And in the poll for the BOX MVP for September, El Kaddouri received 65,66% of the votes to earn the award.
In second place was Dimitris Giannoulis, who has started the season just as he finished the last one, with a string of consistent and impressive displays.
The podium is completed with Andrija Zivkovic , who showed in his first games for his new club that he is a player that possesses great quality, adapting to life in Thessaloniki with the minimum of fuss.
