Supporting students visual impairment
PAOK Action and the company ΚΤΕΟ – AUTECO have joined forces to bring the ΚΕΑΤ Thessaloniki’s (The School for the Blind) bus back on the road, helping over 15 students with serious visual impairments in the process.
The bus has been decommissioned for several years due to serious technical problems, and during the pandemic the need for its use increased due to the public health protection measures.
Several repairs were carried out to restore the vehicle to full working condition, both outside and mechanical. It is now roadworthy and can ferry passengers safely around the streets of Thessaloniki now, helping the students in their everyday movements.
