Under-16s challenging for honors on three fronts
For the newly-formed Under-16 side, the 2020-21 season starts on Sunday (20.09) with a different kind of challenge. The PAOK Academy generation of 2005 will play in the Amateur Team Cup, testing their strengths against older players. The match against Mendeka Kalamaria is on Sunday at 11:00.
At the same time, the Under-16s will play in the MFCA championship, while it is also worth noting that several of the players in the squad will also play for the Under-17 team in the Super League. Essentially, then, these «little ones» will take part in three competitions.
The Under-16s of the 2020-21 season is made up exclusively of players born in 2005. It is last year’s impressive Under-15 team, to which a few additions were made. We welcome, therefore, to the PAOK Academy, Vassilis Sova from the Dinos Kouis Academy, Christos Kosidis from the Champions of Pefkos, Stelios Almasidis from PAOK Koilon, Stavros Iliadis from Ethniki Meteora, and Ioannis Gindersos, also from Champions of Pefkos.
