PAOK began the season with a win in the Super League, plying some good football against Larissa and taking all three points via 1-0 scoreline, and could have scored more goals on the night.

The «Hero» of the match was once again Christos Tziolis. The young forward scored the only goal of the game, netting with a beautiful strike.

It was a performance which earned the PAOK forward another Fans’ Man of the Match award at a canter. Specifically, he received 59,69% of the votes cast to take the individual title.

In second place was Diego Biseswar. The Dutchman was given the role of right-back and he produced a polished display, looking solid and also proving plenty of threat in attack. The Artist was responsible for the excellent assist provided to Tziolis for the Double-headed Eagle’s goal.

Third place on the podium went to Omar El Kaddouri. The Double-headed Eagle midfielder was once more a key influence in the middle of the park, managing the game well and being the overall «brain» of the home side.
