Wernbloom joins IFK Goteborg

PAOK FC announces the transfer of Pontus Wernbloom to IFK Goteborg.

21.08.2020

The Swede spoke to paokfc.gr about ending his contract with the Double-headed Eagle by mutual consent, saying:

«It was an incredible journey which came to an end. I came to PAOK to win and all together we managed to do that. I was unlucky to get seriously injured, but still I consider myself lucky that I got the opportunity to experience the Toumba. It was the craziest experience of my career. I would like to thank everyone for their support through what was a long and difficult rehabilitation. I leave the club as a friend with good memories.»

We thank #TheViking for his contribution to the club and wish him all the best in his future career.
