Against AEK at the OAKA, PAOK was decisive and focused, and managed to come away with a result that the team wanted. After a tough battle against AΕΚ, the goalless draw meant that the three-point gap between the two teams was maintained, and Abel Ferreira’s team took an important step to securing second place.

One of the key players for the Dikefalos tou Vorra was Giannis Michailidis. The young center back was exceptional yet again. He contributed the most of the good defensive work from the team, while he was also crucial in the attacking build-up with his distribution.

In the voting for the Fans’ Man of the Match via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App, Michailidis  collected 44,98% of the votes to win the award.

In second place was Alexandros Paschalakis, who made some vital saves, while third place went to Jose Mauricio, who dominated proceedings in the midfield for PAOK.
