PAOK failed to break the resistance of Panathinaikos at the Toumba Stadium, with the scores locked at 0-0 – a result which meant that the club dropped two vital points in the post-season race for second place. The Dikefalos tou Vorra dominated for long periods of the game, but could not find a way through to goal as the match ended in a goalless stalemate.

One of the key players was undoubtedly Giannis Michailidis. The young defender started the match in a back three alongside Varela and Ingason, and produced a confident and solid display in both defence and in the team’s attacking build-up play.

In the voting for the Fans’ Man of the Match via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App, the youngster collected 56,41% of the votes to win the award.

The other two places on the podium were taken by Alexandros Paschalakis, who was there for the team when it needed him, and Miroslav Stoch, who came off the bench and made a big difference to the team’s attacking play.
