There are those people who associate the weekend with rest and relaxation. And there’s the rest of us, who are addicted to football. We’re the kind of people who don’t count the weeks, but the fixtures. We’re the kind of people who are not looking forward to Sunday so we can gather around a table, but to gather at a stadium. Both home and away.

For us the weekend means football, and that’s never going to change. Even now, when we are all holed up in out houses in order to win another important match, the most important one of all. For our health. The action for PAOK never stops. And neither do the matches. Only now the «stadium» is on the screen and the players, instead of pulling on their boots, are picking up their controllers and pressing «X» to pass the ball.

On Sunday (22.03) night at 21:00 PAOK will play in the club’s first-ever official match in quarantine. Our opponents will be FC Midtjylland from Denmark in the first round of the international Ultimate QuaranTeam tournament which is taking place for philanthropic causes. The match will be broadcast live on our YouTube channel.

Before that, however, the action starts on Saturday (21.03) and includes our internal tournament to decide the winner who will go on to play against our Danish opponents as PAOK’s representative at the Ultimate QuaranTeam match.  All matches will be broadcast live on our YouTube channel.

The first semi-final at 18:00 sees Dimitris Pelkas take on Dimitris Limnios in a «rematch» following their recent friendly clash. At 19:00, Symeon Papadopoulos will try his luck against Chuba Akpom. An hour later at 20:00, the winners of those two matches will play each other. After that, there will be a grand final at 21:00. In that one, the winner of the PAOK players will face eSports player Stavros StavAttack Stavrakidi, with the winner going on to represent PAOK in the Ultimate QuaranTeam tournament.
