Vote for February’s nak Play of the Month
A delicious pass, a mazy run and assist, and a brilliant team effort which ended with a superb goal. Which one will win the nak Play of the Month for February? It’s over to you to decide via the vote on paokfc.gr.
In the match against Panathinaikos at the Toumba, Dimitris Giannoulis decided to stand in for Josip Misic. Mr No Brakes produced an exquisite pass with the outside of his left boot to send Lazaros Lamprou clean through on goal. However, unfortunately the young winger did not manage to find a way past Sokratis Dioudis in the opposition goal.
Next up is Dimitris Pelkas with his demolition job on the Panathinaikos defence at the OAKA. The Joker picked up possession on the right flank and weaved his way past five Greens players before teeing up Swiderski who scored to make it 1-0.
Finally, Chuba Akpom gets the credit for a brilliant team goal. First came a cross from Leo Matos, then a header from Lamprou. The ball found its way to Akpom who produced a great headed assist for Dimitris Limnios to score. That was the first goal in the win over Larissa at the AEL FC Arena and its the third contender.
