Pelkas wins Fans Man of the Match award
Dimitris Pelkas came out on top in the paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App Fans’ Man of the Match vote for the match against Panathinaikos in the second leg of the Greek Cup quarter-final tie at the OAKA.
PAOK confirmed its superiority against Panathinaikos with a second victory in succession against the Greens, this time at the ΟΑΚΑ, to celebrate qualification to the semi-finals of the Greek Cup.
The game’s standout performer for the Dikefalos tou Vorra was Dimitris Pelkas . The Joker was a joy to watch against the Greens. He was full of running, provided the required urgency, and of course the highlight was his brilliant run through a posses of home defenders and assist for Karol Swiderski, who scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win.
In the voting for the Fans’ Man of the Match via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App, Akpom collected 45,95% of the votes to win the award.
In second place was Diego Biseswar, who was full of energy and provided a constant threat to the Panathnaikos defenders.
