Josip Misic did only what he knows best in the match against Panetolikos in Agrinio. Mr Vertical took several opposing players out of the game with an inch-perfect pass for Chuba Akpom to score.
Akpom is also a candidate for this month’s prize. Following a corner from Vierinha, AK47 latched on to Leo Matos’ flicked header to cushion a superb header-assist for Ingi Ingason to score in the away win over Panionios in Nea Smyrni.
Finally, Dimitris Pelkas is also in with a shout. The Joker produced one of those moments of magic that can bring a whole stadium to its feet against Atromitos, leaving Madson for dead with a brilliant nutmeg.
