Dimitris Pelkas and Chuba Akpom combined perfectly in Peristeri against Atromitos to create a goal that sparked memories of last season’s Greek Cup final in May. And the PAOK captain’s magical run and cross against Atromitos has been voted the nak Play of the Month for Setepmber.
Against Atromitos, Dimitris Pelkas produced one of those moments that gets the crowd on their feet, even the fans of opposition clubs too. The PAOK midfielder danced his way through the Atromitos defence and served Akpom a goal on a plate to open the scoring.
And in the poll via paokfc.gr for the nak Play of the Month for September, The Joker, as he is also nicknamed, earned 50,82% of the votes, beating off the challenge of Dimitris Limnios, who came second AND third for the two assists his provided against AEK at the OAKA.
