At a ground which is historically a tough place for PAOK to pick up points, Abel Ferreira’s team put in a focused and solid display which saw the team manage to come away with a 2-1 win over Asteras Tripolis at the Theodoros Kolokotronis stadium.

One of the top players on the day was, of course, Karol Swiderski. The Polish forward, who is the club’s top scorer, continued his great run of form with another goal to take his tally for the season so far to six.

In the voting which took place via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App for the Fans’ Man of the Match award, Swiderski claimed 52,12% of votes to win. Dimitris Limnios, a player who has also been an influential figure in the team’s recent form, came in second place, while defender Dimitris Giannoulis was in third place.
